Bible

A called Christian mentioned that Jesus is the Bible and used John 1:1 to prove that belief. The person agreed to worship the Bible. Is it that correct? I responded that he or she does not know the difference between the Word of God and the word of God. The former is Jesus as John 1:1 said and the latter is the Bible. The Bible did not become flesh and dwell among us. Jesus is not a book. He is a Divine Person. To worship the Bible is idolatry, bibliolatry, against the first Commandment. We worship Jesus who is God, not the Bible. The Bible is not God.
